Write down the Backup Key and store it offline before you submit the change.

Recovery and backup

Use the official reset flow

If you lose the authenticator, use the Binance support recovery or reset path shown in the security center.

Rebind only after access is restored

Do not remove the old authenticator until Binance confirms the new one is active.

Keep the phone number and email current

Binance recovery depends on the contact methods that remain attached to the account.

Common problems

Verify the domain

Open the support link or the in-account Security page directly, because phishing pages often copy authenticator setup screens.

SIM-swap risk

Avoid SMS as the main recovery method for a high-value crypto account.

Device replacement

When you move to a new phone, keep the old device until the new authenticator is tested and confirmed.
